For those of you who don’t know My Fiance Melis is a tattoo artist at Club Tattoo. Over the years of working for club she’s had some really cool opportunities to do paintings for shows, a line of shoes for Etnies and now she has her own water! Yesterday she came home with a case of this and i was really stoked! Melis has been a huge inspiration in the drive behind Ransom and Authority Zero just pushing me as an artist and helping me take a second look at things i do before they go to print. So i just wanted to take this time to say congrats to her and make sure you all check out her new website!

On the daily!

OK so I've been fully slammed lately working on an all new Ransom website, with a whole new design, store and some great new features! The problem with this is that it wrecks my day's and i have no time for anything (sorry babe). Although I have to admit that the site is coming along awesome! I have some friends at DreamCo design helping me out with some coding and such so I have to say thanks to them (Derek and Tanya)! Hopefully i can get all the bugs worked out in the next few week so we can have this thing up and running soon!


The other night My self, Melis, and Adam (other half of Ransom) went to see the Supervillans and the Mad Caddies. The show was AWESOME! When Adam and I first got there we went and hung out on the Supervillans RV and had some beers. It was really cool to catch up with those boys and see them still out killing it on tour! Melis met us up after work and then shortly after that, Sean (Good Riddence) and his wife Olivia and son Chris showed up. So we all went to the bar and got some beers and watched the show. About 30 minutes later Chris (seans's son) started getting crazy with Sean and I so we began to chase him around the bar. This was NUTS! I forget sometimes how kids around 5 or 6 have energy that just never stops hahah! We proceeded to keep chasing him until i was literally drenched in sweat and then I just had to give up. Sean then took Chris up on stage to jam out a bit and I got some great photos.
What a great night, good friends, great beers, and good laughs!

A new Day

Today is one of those really great days where you wake up on the "right" side of the bed and you feel that the sky's the limit! I've been working on these really funny shirts for a friend of mine taking logos and re-creating them. Now normally I wouldn't really want to do this type of work cause I really like doing "custom" work but this stuff is really funny so i just had to, plus Dan is a rad guy and I love working with him.

I'm currently working a design layout for the page so don't pay attention to how it looks.
Along with a new design for the Myspace, i'm creating a new look for my website! With the help from Dreamcodesign.com i'm setting up a great new website!

Crossing the finish line

OK so i have to admit that this layout took me allot longer than i initially expected but i can also say that I'm more proud of this than anything I've done in a while! (no offence to any other clients) As everyone knows you get better with time when you practice and this was a huge challenge for me so i had to draw and draw and draw until i got it. I would definitely like to thank ADD for not going with any of my other ideas only because it really pushed me to do this and not give up even though i was getting extremely frustrated sometimes. I did the entire layout in Illustrator. Hope you enjoy!

Last Day!

So i just wanted to jump in here and say that I've had an absolute blast on this tour and today is the last day! Although i would love to stay out with these guys (PW and Strung Out) I definitely need to go home. I miss my girl, plain and simple.... To all of you who made it out to the shows, thanks for the support and we'll be back soon!

tour update...

So the pennywise tour ended about 5 days ago in NY and i must say it was definitely one of the best tours we've ever been on. The entire tour was a blast and everyone on it was super cool, so thanks to the PW crew and the Strung Out crew for having us along for the ride!
Since NY we've traveled across the nation stopping in St. Louis for a show and last night stopping in CO springs.
St. Louis was hands down one of the hottest shows i've ever played in my life. I'm almost sure that it beat warped tour in July in Phoenix (almost).... The club we played was around the size of The Big Fish Pub for those of you who have been there and the humidity was INSANE! I litterally had a stream of sweat runing off my chin the entire show. Note to self, BRING A FAN! HAHAH!

After HOT Louis we booked across the nation to CO to play at The black Sheep. The show was great! Merch wasn't selling so well last night so Bill decided to offer to the crowed that if 30 of them would go buy a T-shirt, Authority Zero would buy a bottle of jeager for those shirt buyers to share....... it worked! We doubled our merch profits, grabbed a bottle, and got a bunch of people reaaaaly drunk! including me..... hahaha what a great idea Bill! After the show we headed back to the Double Tree,.... ya i said it DOUBLE TREE. For those of you who haven't been following my blog, Bill has been booking our hotels through Priceline.com and let me tell ya we've never been happier! Sheraton, Double Tree, Mariott,.... 50 to 60 a night! Crazy!

Now we are headed through the Rockies (as im typing this) and we'll land in Vegas tonight just to crash on our day off and then continue on to Pamona tomorrow where we meet up with Stung Out to do 2 more shows before home. 3 more days...

I'm putting together a tour video right now that i'll have up sometime after the tour is over so keep your eyes out for that!
